Markus D. Dubber is Professor of Law and Director of the Buffalo Criminal Law Center at SUNY Buffalo School of Law. He has published books and articles on topics in criminal law and procedure, comparative law, legal theory, and legal history, including Criminal Law: Model Penal Code (2002), Victims in the War on Crime: The Use and Abuse of Victims' Rights (2002), and The Police Power: Patriarchy and the Foundations of American Government (2005). Mr. Dubber is the founding editor of the Buffalo Criminal Law Review and a member of the American Law Institute. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Law School.
